Does Senator John McCain's hot temper and foul language make him a bad choice for leader of this country? Ronald Kessler of Newsmax.com wrote a story detailing allegations of McCain's nastier moments highlighted by RAW STORY Thursday.
Republican In Name Only, the Liberal John McCain has done more to forward Liberal policy than any single Democrat. His most prominent and resent legislation has been co authored with some of the most Liberal members of the democratic party. Kennedy, Fingold,
If McCain wins in 2008, he will be the oldest person to assume the Presidency in history at initial ascension to office. He would be 72 years old, surpassing Ronald Reagan who was 69 years old at his inauguration following the 1980 election

Conservatives for the defeat of John McCain for President. Conservatives to defeat McCain.
Why Conservatives to Defeat McCain? As conservatives we must not flip fop about McCain. We can not support him after we have called, faxed, and emailed promising to oppose him and others over issues such as immigration, campaign finance, Tax cuts, etc. If we now support McCain after all of our threats where will that leave us? Won't we then be no better than the black Democrat voters who continue to support those who do nothing for them? It is critical that we stand on our principles and do not give our support of McCain. The fight isn't over. Its time to show the RNC we stand on principle.
Most important, we must resisting sitting out the election. The fight is not over because McCain is the Republican Presidential nominee. We must now focus our efforts on the Congress so that they might stop or slow the Liberal agenda of McCain or a Democratic President. Even if we are unable to regain majorities in the House or Senate, the narrower the Democratic majorities the better. Newt Gingrich and the Republican Congress of the 90's has shown us what can be accomplished even with a Democrat President in power. In fact, Republicans are most Conservative when in the minority opposing the Democratic agenda. It is during these times we wish the Republicans were in power so that they can accomplish their Conservative agenda. But when they are the majority ,as we have seen during Bush 43's Presidency, they moved left and we got even less Conservative legislation. With all of our complaints about Bush's second term just think how much worse a McCain Presidency would be.
I ask those who say we cant have Hillary or Obama in the White House, would McCain really be better? Consider this. It wasn't the Clinton- Kennedy amnesty bill. It wasn't the Obama- Feingold campaign finance reform act. Who is really more liberal? Keep in mind that the Republicans in Congress will likely fiercely oppose the Liberal agenda of a Democrat President. On the other hand, we can expect the Republican Congress to support McCain's Liberal agenda. Consider McCain's stances on these important issues to Conservatives:
Taxes- McCain declined to sign the pledge put forth by Americans for Tax Freedom not to impose any new taxes or increase existing taxes.
Abortion- in 2007 McCain stated about Roe v. Wade, "It should be overturned." This also gives you an indication of types of Judges he would appoint.
Gun control- McCain has been a lead sponsor of gun control legislation as well as what organizations including Gun Owners of America argue are restrictions on the free speech of pro-Second Amendment organizations even earning an F- rating from Gun Owners of America.
Immigration- McCain was the coauthor of the McCain-Kennedy Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2007
Free Speech- McCain-Feingold campaign finance reform act is an attack on free speech which many legal experts say may eventually be ruled unconstitutional.
Taxes- McCain voted against President Bush's tax cuts in 2001 and 2003, though he voted to extend the tax breaks in 2005.
The war on terrorism- McCain has been a strong opponent of the Bush administration's use of "enhanced interrogation techniques" in the War on Terror, and has specifically referred to waterboarding as torture. He has also said that he intends to "immediately close" the Guantanamo Bay detainment camp.
For these reasons and more:
As stated by conservative radio talk show host Laura Ingraham. My sentiments exactly.

Many
prominent Conservatives are sticking to their convictions and are
calling for others to do the same and reject John McCain as President.
As do you, these individuals value Conservative principles and are
committed to the movement. The main importance isn't winning every
election, but doing all we can to push policy that reflects our
Conservative values.
Here is what some have to say: |

Ann replied when asked if she would vote for Hillary "I will campaign for her if its McCain."
"He is confusing Republicans with his Liberal Friends"
Hillary- "She lies less than John McCain, She is smarter than John McCain."
"He will not give up on Amnesty." |
| Who is more Liberal, McCain or Hillary?
Hillary supports the Senates immigration amnesty bill McCain was the coauthor with Kennedy.
Hillary opposed tax cuts in 2001 and 2003. McCain also opposed them.
Both were endorsed by the Ney York Times.

| “I am convinced Sen. McCain is not a conservative, and in fact, has gone out of his way to stick his thumb in the eyes of those who are. He has at times sounded more like a member of the other party. McCain actually considered leaving the GOP in 2001, and approached John Kerry about being Kerry’s running mate in 2004. McCain also said publicly that Hillary Clinton would make a good president. Given these and many other concerns, a spoonful of sugar does not make the medicine go down. I cannot, and I will not vote for Sen. John McCain, as a matter of conscience. |
